| Challenge: | Bring the science lab and inventions of fictional scientist Professor Phineas Pennypickle, Ph.D, to life through interactive museum exhibits that can stand up to the daily handling of children of all ages. |
| Solution: | Sparks planned, designed and fabricated one-of-a-kind components to develop a setting that fully immersed visitors in the wacky science lab and inventions of the Professor and was completely hands-on. Visitors enter the library through an over-sized fireplace and travel through time while learning about centrifugal force by sitting on a chair spun by bike tires. The flight and aviation room features the Professor's own hot air balloon. A birthday cake-a-pult, an earthquake simulator and an anti-gravity machine add to the excitement. |
