Challenge:

Design, fabricate, and install a new vision center environment that will enhance and promote frame sales while creating a comfortable and functional space for clients and staff.

Solution:

The look and feel is remarkably different from a standard vision center in that it feels like a retail store with a doctor’s office, rather than a doctor’s office that sells eyewear.  Dramatic lighting and large format lifestyle images create a sense of high-style and fashion-forward design, while freestanding floor displays and sliding wall panels segment and differentiate each designer eyewear brand.  The floor plan has open sight lines for customers and patients to easily navigate the store, includes clearly defined optician work areas that are screened to maximize privacy and minimize the visual barriers and incorporates overhead signage to highlight eyewear collections and other points of interest. 

Performance:

In-house prescription sales with frames increased 20% within three months after installation.
